Residential Interior Photography
I photograph completed residential interiors for interior designers, architects, kitchen studios and other design-led businesses. A project needs photographs that show the space as a whole and the decisions behind it: the layout, materials, joinery, furnishings and details.
The resulting images can be used across a portfolio, website, press submission or project case study. Based in Leicestershire, I photograph homes throughout the UK, including London. Before the shoot, we can agree the rooms, priority views and intended uses so the coverage fits the project.
Photographing the finished interior
Wide photographs show how rooms connect and how a design works at scale. Closer views draw attention to surfaces, textures, lighting and craftsmanship that may be lost in a single room view. Together, they provide both a record of the complete project and individual images for different uses.
Residential interiors need careful attention to perspective and light. I consider the daylight, windows and existing lighting in each room, and allow time to check the details in the frame. For a larger home or several properties, we can agree a practical shooting order in advance.
If the brief is for a staged sales property or estate agency listing, you can also see my showhome photography and property photography.
