Before a client meets your team, they may already have seen them on your website, a proposal or LinkedIn. Consistent, approachable headshots help those introductions feel professional and personal.

I’m Gary Summers of SMD Photography. I bring a portable lighting setup to your workplace and guide each person through their session, so your team can have strong portraits without travelling to a studio.

We agree the look and schedule around the number of people and the time available. Based in Leicestershire, I photograph corporate teams throughout the UK, including regular assignments in London.

Make it easy for the people in the photographs

Being photographed is familiar territory for some people and uncomfortable for others. I give straightforward direction throughout the session, helping each person settle into the photograph.

For larger teams, a consistent lighting and background setup keeps the collection coherent, with appointments organised around the working day. For smaller groups or a more individual approach, we can allow time for different portraits and backgrounds around your workplace.

A look that belongs to your business

Your photographs can follow an established headshot style or introduce a new one. A plain background creates a clean, consistent team page; an office or recognisable location can give the portraits a stronger sense of your organisation.

My recent assignments include Clearer in Leicester, LHV Bank in London and around 30 members of the Levy team at Old Trafford. Each called for a different setting and a consistent approach within the finished collection.

Know what to expect

Before the shoot, we agree the number of people, available space, style and timings. I edit and supply the finished photographs as digital files. Particular crops or additional retouching can be agreed in advance.

This service is for organisations booking multiple people. I don’t offer individual personal or performer headshot sessions.

At Clearer’s Leicester HQ, I photographed the team using one light and a collapsible backdrop. Consistent lighting brought the portraits together, while natural expressions and a little shadow gave each headshot its own character.

For LHV Bank at 1 Angel Court, I photographed twelve team members using several backgrounds within the same meeting room. Time with each person allowed a varied set of portraits, including views across the London skyline.

At Old Trafford in Manchester, I photographed around 30 members of the Levy UK + Ireland team. Location lighting within the stands gave the headshots a consistent look, with the stadium backdrop connecting the portraits to their workplace.
