Food Photography
I photograph food for restaurants, hotels, bars and caterers across the UK, creating images for menus, websites, social media and marketing materials.
My focus is on the texture, colour and presentation of the food you serve. Through lighting and composition, I show the detail of individual dishes as well as the wider setting, from a carefully plated main course to breakfast brought to a guest’s room.
Food photography for menus and marketing
The way a photograph will be used shapes how it should be taken. A menu may need a consistent set of images focused on individual dishes, while a website or social campaign may need wider scenes, detail photographs and room for text.
Sharing your menu and intended uses helps me plan the coverage, framing and mix of images for the shoot. Whether you’re introducing new dishes or refreshing existing photography, the aim is to give you a useful collection that reflects what you offer.
Food and hospitality photography at Ragdale Hall
I’ve worked with Ragdale Hall Luxury Spa for more than thirteen years, photographing food as part of regular content shoots. One assignment centred on breakfast in bed, creating a bright morning feel and showing the experience of breakfast delivered to a guest’s room.
The same visit also included further food photography, staff headshots and photographs around the grounds.
